There have been many landmark moments in the history of science: the development of Penicillin; the invention of the Soda Stream; that freaky business with the mouse with an ear on its back. But, frankly, the world has never experienced a 'eureka' moment parallel to this. So get ready to gaze at the wonder of the tee of tomorrow - to witness a revolution in atomic-fuelled apparel. Ladies and gentlemen, the future of your wardrobe is here: welcome to Split the Atom.

Split the Atom is an exclusive, limited edition t-shirt company that is powered by your red-hot creativity. Designers submit their ideas online, which are then rated by you. (Yep, you get to decide which tees we print! Cool, huh?) The winning designs are put on sale, giving you the chance to own an exclusive piece of clothing that is sure to make you the envy of everyone who sets eyes on you.

Split the Atom was formed in 1941 by the quantum physicists Henrik Jensen and Karl Brehme during a secret meeting in the snow-shrouded woods of (Nazi-occupied) Copenhagen.

Popular history recalls that Henrik and Karl
met to debate their humanitarian responsibilities regarding the rapid development of the first atomic bomb. But in actual fact they were there to discuss the launch of the finest T-shirt site the world has ever known.

The plans were drawn, and
an awe- inspiring wave of
atomic energy was unleashed - in T-shirt form - upon a dumb-struck globe.

(The very concept of Split the Atom was so dizzying, so contentious that Henrik and Karl, the best of friends, never spoke to each other again. But it was worth it: their tee-legacy has lived on for generation after generation to cherish and enjoy.)
