We printed this highly unusual design because, while it is decidedly esoteric and whimsical, it also has a trendy cutting edge about it (which is a winning combination to have).

Monkey II explains his inspiration for the design: “One day I was playing with my niece and nephew of mine. Those kids are amazing, but sometimes a real pain in the ass too, and you have to keep them busy - usually with ‘self-made’ games. So we put tiny pieces of coloured paper together to form different shapes. At the end we always put an eye on top and a mouth/beak/smile/grin. Et voila: a fantasy creature!
